Dr. Asma Begum

Dr. Asma begam obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Dhaka Dental College under Dhaka university in 1999. She passed the 22nd BCS examination and joined the government service in 2003. She holds a post graduate degree DDS (Dentistry) from Bangladesh Medical University. She also obtained an MPH (Masters of Public Health) degree, Major in Epidemology from NUB in 2021.

She is currently working as an Associate Professor and Head of Department (Dental) at Khulna Specialized Hospital, Khulna and practicing privately at Decent Specialized Dental Care, Khulna.

She is clinically involved with many government and non-government organizations. Among them Dhaka Dental College, Bangladesh Medical University (PG), Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Khulna Sadar Hospital, Khulna Specialized Hospital are worth mentioning.

She has 27 years of experience in the treatment of oral and dental diseases. Her articles have been published in journals and she has presented research papers in many seminars which bears the signature of her ultimate professional devotion.

She is an Honorary Fellow of A.I.C OSSTEM Implant (South Korea) IAT (Japan). She has been awarded the Honorary Fellowship (FICD) from the International College of Dentistry (USA) for her outstanding contribution to the profession. She received special training on IAT implant (Japan) and laser surgery from Tokyo, Japan. She worked with many local and foreign dental specialist and has received a lot of training in dental affairs at home and abroad. She is a life member of Shishu Hospital, Khulna and Social Welfare Association, Khulna Specialized Hospital. She is the Vice President of Bangladesh dental Society, Khulna. She is one of the founder of ABCD foundation (Asma Bablu Community Development foundation). She is the director of Oral Health Education and Research Center.

She is specialized in Hi-Tech Endodontic Procedure (Root Canal Treatment), Endo Surgery, Implantology, Cosmetic Dental Treatment, Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry (MICD), Pediatric Dentistry, Laser Treatment and General Dentistry.
